It is amusement park. It is half the size of USJ,but the type of attraction is different from USJ. It was so enjoyable. I was able to make the best memories there. Finaly,I had a chat with the Children of Malaysia. It was difficult for me to communicate with them in English. But,they look so fine and I cheered up.

Worth it

From the moment I saw the previews and free videos offered on the app, I knew I wanted the full subscription. I have tried a couple recipes so far, and think it is well worth the reasonable $2.99/month. Sure there are countless recipes on the internet, but the instructional value alone elevates this to so much more than just a recipe app. I love the ability to quickly adjust the ingredient measurements to the amount of people, as well as the shopping list. Two major bonus features that show you pay attention to what the user would want. I really appreciate the tips that are given along the way in the videos, the scope of knowledge, and the fact that these recipes require so little ingredients to make restaurant quality meals. Keep up the great work!

Developer Response,

Hi Selton90, Thanks so much for your support! We are thrilled to know that you're loving the experience with Project Foodie. Since your feedback, we've moved to a pay-what-you-wish model. We hope that means we'll be seeing more of you in the kitchen this year! If you ever had any suggestions for us, please don't hesitate to reach out to support@theIPcorp.com. Awesome App!!!

Really have enjoyed the recipes and cooking videos on this app. The videos have been very interesting and easy to watch, and the recipes are delicious. Looking forward to more new recipes and tutorials. My only criticism would be that recipes are almost written as if only one person is cooking, so when cooking with my wife it has been hard to follow. Also, recipes are only available through the app and are not posted online. Would be great to be able to export to our recipe keeping app. Not huge criticisms but just wanted to share my feedback. Keep up the good work!

Developer Response,

Your wish is our command! Recipes are now available online at www.itsprojectfoodie.com. Could you email me at kaity@theIPcorp.com? I’d love to hear more about your thoughts on the recipe format. Thank you!

It’s not stuffy, YEAH

There is something about a production that is technically correct, beautifully done but a total bore. This is not. The kitchen looks likes your home, the approach is as if you were in your kitchen teaching your friend how to make a dish they love but have never made. Then the fun ensues. Then the magic happens because your friend is learning techniques at the same time relaxed, hence the knowledge sinks in without the pressure to take notes then trying to recreate at home still feeling lost.

Developer Response,

Wow. Thank you so much for the kind words. We love that you understand what we're about. It is important to us that the Project Foodie experience feels like Daniel is actually in your kitchen with you, cooking along at the same time. That's why we film in Daniel's kitchen in Brooklyn, or in Eli's kitchen in Venice, CA. Thank you again.
From our table to yours,
Daniel, Eli and Kaity

New Formula! So Delicious has been diligently removing carrageenan from their products, based on consumer request, and the dairy free coconut milk yogurt alternatives have also received a face-lift.

For starters, we love the attractive and wide packaging of the new single-serve So Delicious coconut milk yogurt alternatives – they stack better in the refrigerator and make better bowls for adding granola and fruit. The thin, more eco-friendly lids also close up nicely if you only opt to eat a portion of the dairy-free coconut milk yogurt in one sitting. As for the updated recipe, well, our reviews became a bit more mixed based on the variety.

Tasting Notes for So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Yogurt

For some reason, it seems that carrageenan-free becomes more tricky when fruit, flavors and/or sweetener are added. The good news is, the Unsweetened cultured coconut milk remained as creamy and versatile as ever.

Unsweetened

Look

It’s very smooth, even without stirring, and has a savory, slightly tangy flavor with just a slight touch of bitterness. The consistency is a touch runnier than most. But it’s still thick enough to enjoy by the spoonful or in recipes. That said, I love how well it works in both sweet and savory recipes. As well as how I can sweeten it as I please for breakfast or a snack. When I feel like keeping it sugar-free, it actually shines with just a few drops of pure stevia. The two compliment one another for a delicious heightened experience. But it also melds well with natural sweeteners like honey or agave nectar (for strictly vegan).

Vanilla Unsweetened

This variety was close in smoothness. Though it seems that hint of flavor does have a little effect on texture when carrageenan is removed. Even so, it is a great option for blending into smoothies.

Fruit Flavors

However, things really start to go awry with the carrageenan-free So Delicious coconut milk yogurt formula when both sweetener and flavors are added. We first sampled the Vanilla, Raspberry, Strawberry and Strawberry Banana, all of which had a somewhat off-putting consistency. Even after stirring and stirring and stirring … each still had a somewhat lumpy, separated look.

I realize that looks can be deceiving, but indeed the texture was a little unpleasing to each of our tasters. It was a bit pudding-like in thickness, but without that nice creamy mouth feel. Just to verify that it wasn’t a batch issue. We waited several weeks and picked up another Strawberry So Delicious coconut milk yogurt at the store. Alas, it had the same consistency issues.

The fruit flavors were voted as “okay” with a Yoplait-ish vibe. The Vanilla tasted a little “off” with a bit of bitterness rather than the pure vanilla sweetness our palates were expecting.

As for the nutritional value of So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Yogurt, it is stocked with several strains of probiotics, which include L. Bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, L. Rhamnosus, L. Acidophilus, Bif. Bifidum, and Bif. Animalis (love this name, and don’t worry, it’s vegan). It’s also got a little bit of enriching fat (mostly medium chain fatty acids from the coconut), and is fortified with goodies like calcium, magnesium, vitamin D2, and vitamin B12. Here again is where I prefer the Unsweetened version – it’s got a nice, bone-health balance of 20% each calcium, vitamin D AND magnesium. The flavored varieties are heavier in calcium and vitamin D, but lack the support of plant-based magnesium.

Clearly, we’re still happy with those big tubs of Unsweetened So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Yogurt, and will continue to be customers of the brand for this one-of-a-kind product.

As a former dairy lover, I have searched for many dairy free/lactose free alternative products that taste good and are healthy. With IBS issues it’s been a challenge. I’m loving this brand in Coconut and Almond and appreciated reading the carragean has now been removed. Makes it so much easier on my sensitive tummy.

I am really curious why the package does not list the different types of probiotics on the back label? just says live cultures.. I have tried it and love it, but why if it says like on this page it has all these different probiotics is it no listed on label?
Thanks Hollie

Response from Go Dairy Free

Hi Hollie, that’s a good question! I’m not sure why they do that. But according to So Delicious, the live cultures they use are: L. Bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, L. Rhamnosus, L. Acidophilus, Bif. Bifidum, and Bif. Animalis. They are all plant-based and dairy-free, and are actually grown on non-GMO coconuts. They report that no dairy is involved in the making of these cultures.

I have osteoporosis due to hereditary factors and small frame. I need to step up my calcium intake from food sources. I was delighted to find the Coconut Milk Unsweetened has 50% of recommended daily calcium. I hope this is reliable and would appreciate any feedback on this.
I’ve mixed with maple syrup or agave to sweeten, and have added blueberries and chia seeds. The mix in options are numerous, so look forward to trying more.

Response from Go Dairy Free

I can’t speak on behalf of the company Genie, but the 50% RDA for calcium should be reliable. It’s fortified, and typically a fixed part of their ingredient process / formula. And indeed, that is a high amount!

I bought some SO Delicious raspberry today. I am absolutely loving it. Great texture, consistency AND flavor. I would have given 5 stars but will wait until I try the other flavors.

Removing the carrageenan from dairy-free yogurt is tricky business. We don’t think they’ve mastered the formula yet, at least with the flavored varieties, which lacked that smooth mouth feel. Fortunately, the Unsweetened has retained a creamy consistency and the savory flavor that makes it our versatile go-to yogurt alternative.
