Then click the little windows button at the bottom thatshould pull up a menu then type in %appdata% and press enter awindow should pop up that says .minecraft in it some where mostlikely at the top click that file and it should take you to yourminecraft floder once in it click on 'bin' then you should see a.jar file the says minecraft or minecraft.jar open that with winrarthhen drag all the class files ( from the mod file ) into theminecraft.jar file don't drag in any non .class files eg readmetxtyou don't want in it some mods may need mod loader just do theexact same procedure to install it. As minecraft looks for 'minecraft.jar' in your 'application data' folder, it is impossible to 'move' or 'copy' any file from there into a new location and run it from there. There has however been a 'minecraft portable' mod, which allows for movement of the .minecraft folder.
you have to go to start, click run, click your .minecraft folder, take the downloaded mod (it has to be zipped) click open archive, then with the .minecraft folder, you find bin go in, and open minecraft's archive, then you move the files in the mod archive folder to the minecraft archives. For MAC First download it from the website and open the downloaded file. If it is not a zip file, then compress it. Place it in the mod folder of minecraft by going to ~/Library then open Application Support. Find minecraft and open the folder labeled mods and place the zip file in the folder.

I don't know if you HAVE to have… Read More

For Mac Users Only: First, you must download the texture pack and it will appear in your downloads folder so you should have minecraft otherwise this won't work. MineEdit is a separate mod of Minecraft. It is not assessable on or in Minecraft itself. Open the downloaded folder and extract its files. Then go into that folder and look for a MineEdit Application file. Just double click on that and it will open. For the inventory editing to work you must not be in-game. After editing save your inventory and open the world.
Hello!
I was just wondering if there was a way for me to move buildings from one singleplayer world, or server to another singleplayer world? While preparing for the Elytra to arrive, I decided I wanted a partially amplified terrain. However though.. I've put down hours upon hours in designing buildings in my current world, and would like to keep them, instead of starting from scratch.
Are there any programs I can use, or simply messing with the files, or some settings or something? Keep in mind I am no pc-genius, but Im sure its possible somehow!
Many thanks to everyone!
