Summer is here, and with it comes potentially great lease and purchase deals, especially with the 4th of July holiday. The economy seems to be going strong, but there's still a general oversupply of vehicles on dealer lots due to a decrease in sales - especially for sedans. There are still leftover 2018 models on dealer lots, some with excellent deals - however you may not have a lot of colors and options to choose from.

May 22, 2013 - Actually, just because you have money doesn't mean you aren't stupid for wasting it. Leasing a vehicle for $700 and putting $5000 down on it is.

Considering the fact that a tarrif conflict with China may see new car prices increase, coupled with rising interest rates - you should think about closing a deal sooner rather than later. Some manufacturers are offering bigger discounts to move them off the lots.

Car manufactuers are competitive when it comes to market share - this is a good opportunity to get deals since every car maker wants to have a strong start to summer- that's why June can be a good month to get deals - especially on leases. Car dealerships are also desperate to get rid of the remaining leftover inventory as soon as possible. Ford is testing different incentive packages after suffering big sales losses and a dropping stock price, and many car makers have hidden rebates that result in as much as 28% off MSRP (Hyundai, FIAT, and Chrysler in particular).

2019 models have fully taken over showrooms, which means better deals on the 2018 models still remaining.

The average incentive per vehicle is currently around $3,500. There's some great deals and large rebates on popular models such as the Nissan Altima, Toyota Camry, Honda Civic, Kia Forte, Chevrolet Impala, Cadillac ATS, and Chevrolet Malibu.

Brands such as Hyundai, GM, and BMW continue to offer a slew of lease deals and 0% financing.

You can find several vehicles with leases starting at under $300 per month with $0 down payment.
